Dolly Parton On-Line

In the Good Old Days (When Times Were Bad) (1969)

"In the Good Old Days (When Times Were Bad)" was the third album by Dolly Parton, released in February 1969 by RCA Records.  After the minor success of 1968's, "Just Because I'm a Woman", Dolly quickly began recording again and released this album to keep her name on the chart as a solo artist, alongside her growing success as the duet partner of Country superstar Porter Wagoner.  It became rare fast, as it was not the breakthrough she and Porter had been hoping for.
